The property
Varun Home Stay had the hardest part already solved. Seventeen years of guests, 43+ five-star reviews on Google, and a steady stream of bookings arriving through references, word of mouth and the phone.
What it did not have was a way for a traveller who had never heard of it to find it, check availability, and book. Every new guest had to arrive through somebody who already knew the place.

In the owner’s words
We have been running Varun Homestay in Barot since 2008. Most of our bookings always came through references, word of mouth and phone calls. Even though we had 43+ five-star reviews on Google, our online presence was very limited.
